Terms and Conditions of Sale

We accept orders subject to our Terms and Conditions of Sale. Woodley Equipment Company online store is a business to business site and is not intended for consumer use.

When a customer places an order on this online store, the customer is making an offer and the contract will only be formed if that order is accepted by Woodley Equipment Company. By taking payment for an order from the credit card provided at the time the order is placed does not constitute acceptance of the order.

 

Payment

Online payment processing is through PayPal and the following cards are accepted:

Goods will not be despatched until payment authorisation has been received for the full value of the invoice from PayPal.

Pricing

Our product prices displayed exclude shipping and handling charges and VAT and any other taxes or duties which will be charged at the rate or rates applicable at the date of the payment transaction between Woodley Equipment Company and the customer, these charges will be added at the final stage of your order before you submit your order for processing. 

The prices displayed replace any previous prices issued and are subject to change without notice.

Claims for Loss, Short Delivery and Breakage

Woodley Equipment Company shall have no liability with regards to any claim in respect of alleged loss and short delivery or breakage during transit unless the following actions take place:

  • A claim in writing to enquiries@woodleyequipment.com containing full details of the claim within 24 hours of delivery or in the case of alleged non delivery by close of business on the 1st working day following the date of expected delivery of the goods.
  • Please ensure that goods are checked upon arrival for courier damage before signing delivery documents to declare goods have been received in good condition. Should goods or packaging appear damaged the customer must retain the goods and packaging for inspection by the carrier and must sign ‘damaged’ upon the carriers paperwork.  Any courier damage must be reported to Woodley Equipment Company within 24 hours of receipt in writing via email to enquiries@woodleyequipment.com.
  • Where it is alleged that a short delivery has been made, the customer must write the amount of the alleged shortage on the carrier’s paperwork.

Woodley Equipment Company shall have no liability with regard to any claim in respect of which the customer has not complied with the outlined claim procedures in the Terms and Conditions of Sale.

If the customer establishes that any goods have not been delivered, have been delivered damaged or do not comply with the description detailed on the product page of our online website, Woodley Equipment Company shall, at its option, replace with similar goods any goods which are missing, lost or damaged or do not comply with their description, allow the customer a credit for their invoice value or repair any damaged goods.

Cancellation of Order

Goods are not supplied on a sale or return basis.

Orders for goods may be cancelled by written notice to enquiries@woodleyequipment.com at any time before the goods are shipped to the customer. The Company reserves the right to require the customer to pay Woodley Equipment Company a 35% restocking fee of the goods value, together with all shipping and handling charges incurred by Woodley Equipment Company.  Credit will be given for the remaining value following the deduction of the above fees, from the invoice value paid.

Orders placed for goods with expiry dates may not be cancelled except at the sole discretion of Woodley Equipment Company.

Return of Faulty Goods

Woodley Equipment Company shall have no liability with regard to any claim in respect of allegedly defective goods unless any claim is made in writing to enquiries@woodleyequipment.com containing full details of the claim within 7 days of delivery of the goods.

Woodley Equipment shall be afforded reasonable opportunity and facilities to investigate any claims made under this condition and the customer shall if requested in writing by Woodley Equipment Company, promptly return the goods subject to the claim and packaging securely packed and carriage paid to Woodley Equipment Company for examination.

If the customer establishes that any goods are defective, Woodley Equipment Company shall, at its option, replace with similar goods or repair any defective goods, allow the customer a credit or refund of the invoice value.  The delivery of any replacement or repaired goods shall be at the Customer’s premises or delivery point specified for the original goods.
